Yesterday, my friend Kara and I went out to Sentosa Island to give the casinos another shot. We went a couple of weekends ago to celebrate her birthday but with it being a new casino and evening, we had little success; it was super crowded and all the tables and machines weren’t open so there was literally no where to sit. So, we thought we would try it during the day. The tables were still crowded but there were plenty of two cent, nickel and dime slots open for us “big” gamblers. Neither of us won big but it was a good time!
After the casinos we went and had lunch on the beach along with a Singapore Sling. Now when I first heard “Singapore Sling” I automatically thought dance (sling, swing…confusion makes sense :) ) But no, it’s not a dance, it’s a strong, fruity drink that will make you want to dance. To walk off our Singapore Sling we made our way over to the Southernmost point in Continental Asia…pretty cool!
Kara and I with our Singapore Slings!
Me before walking over the suspension bridge to get to the Southernmost point!
