Sunday, we were invited to spend the day on a boat off the coast of Singapore. It was so nice to get out of the city and spend a day on the water and soaking in the sun. And our friend Clent (who also works for the same company as Ryan) was in town for work and was staying with us. It's so nice to have company from home!
We left of the out of the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club. Makes me want to own a yacht!
Bye bye city!
Hello island!
Some other boats 'parked' of the shore of the island.
Ryan and Clent enjoying the water and a hot dog.
Life savers make pretty good floats/tubes as well!
Heading back to the city!
Me, Ryan and Dennis. It was Dennis' birthday and that was the excuse for needing to take a boat out all day! Happy Birthday, Dennis! (Please ignore the jelly roll, it's the angle I'm leaning ;-)
Enjoying myself.
Me and the love of my life!
A view of the city from the boat.
Some houses being built on the coast of Singapore.
Pretty sunset as we cruise back in to Singapore.
One of the big ships with a bunch of containers with anything and everything you can think of inside. Something you own most likely traveled through Singapore first!

ISTANA-Singapore's Presidential Palace
Friday was a public holiday in Singapore (Hari Raya-Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan)so Ryan and I decided to be touristy and visit the Presidential Palace which is only open on select public holidays.
Waiting in line to get in!
One of the guards. Of course my husband notices that there is no ammunition in the gun. I guess it's for looks and intimidation only. Let me tell you, I was pretty scared.(sarcasm)
The front lawn of the Presidential Palace is his very own golf course!
Beautiful landscaping and manicured grounds!
Ryan needed ice cream about 10 minutes in to our walk. He hearts ice cream!
